Walmart India WEDP

In 2014, Walmart expanded its Woman Economic Empowerment Initiative in India and strengthened its focus in sourcing from women – owned businesses. In 2016, Walmart and Walmart India worked with WEConnect International and Vrutti to launch the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) to help grow women – owned businesses.
