Empowered by Walmart

Walmart often helps our suppliers see the possibilities for new
business opportunities. One of their suppliers in India, a nonprofit called Society for Child Development (SCD), founded by Dr. Madhumita Puri, had been working on recycling waste through a “Trash to Cash” program. SCD’s approach helps differently abled women and men earn a dignified livelihood through converting waste into products.
